Renowned British law publication The Lawyer has awarded Castrén & Snellman with the title of Law Firm of the Year: The Nordics at its European Awards gala. Other law firms nominated in the Nordics category were Hannes Snellman, Roschier, Magnusson MAQS Law Firm, and last year’s winner, Schjødt. Altogether 25 awards were presented at the gala held in London on 20 February 2014. Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners was chosen as the Law Firm of the Year: Europe.

According to The Lawyer, what set us apart from other nominees was, among other things, our strategic work, project management and commitment to diversity. The winners were selected by a panel comprised of e.g. managing partners at private practice firms and in-house counsel at multinational companies.
