Environment and Real Estate Lawyers
The world is constantly changing, and so are the expectations clients have of law firms. At Castrén & Snellman, we want to genuinely understand our clients' business challenges beyond just the law and be their partners in both strategic and other change situations. That is why we look for experts who have the spark to work towards this goal and a flexible mind that is always open to learning something new.
Do you have that spark? Our environment and real estate teams are now hiring
ENVIRONMENT AND REAL ESTATE LAWYERS
As our lawyer, you will have the opportunity to become a top expert in business law and advise our clients in versatile and wide-ranging environmental and real estate law assignments. Our clients include companies of all sizes, from startups to large multinationals. The day-to-day business of our environmental lawyers consists of advising our clients in permit and environmental liability issues related to extensive infrastructure and industrial projects. Our real estate lawyers advise our clients in, among other things, real estate transactions, extensive real estate development projects and lease issues. You will also have the opportunity to expand your expertise in other areas of business law according to your interests. We offer excellent development and training opportunities as well as advantages of a profitable growth company.
You have gained at least a few years of working experience in environmental and real estate law expert positions after completing your Master of Laws degree. If you are extroverted and a self-motivated team player by nature, you may be the person we are looking for. You get along and enjoy working with different kinds of people. International experience is a plus in your work. We appreciate a practical and an efficient way of working as well as excellent skills in both Finnish and English. Other languages, particularly Swedish but also Russian or German, are an advantage.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN APPLYING
If you think that Castrén & Snellman could be right for you, fill out our application form and tell us about yourself. If we don’t have your dream job open right now send us an open application.
We read every application we get and use video interviews to get a better picture of you. In the video interview, you film yourself answering a few questions that we will send you by e-mail. You will have 2–4 days to make your video.
We will invite some applicants to a face-to-face interview at our offices. At this stage, you will be interviewed by your potential new supervisor, a member of our HR team and sometimes another possible future colleague. There may be more than one round of interviews.
If you are applying for a permanent position, an aptitude test run by Mercuri Urval will be a part of the recruitment process. We have worked with Mercuri Urval for many years, and their test supplements and deepens the information from the interview. You will also get a link to an English test for general language skills, which will be taken into account in the recruiting process.
We will let all applicants know the results of the recruitment process either over the phone or via e-mail.
